Oskar Schmidt lives and works currently in São Paulo. Schmidt received the FAAP Artistic Residency in São Paulo, Brazil (2017); the PIVÔ Research program in São Paulo, Brazil (2017); the grant EHF 2010 by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (2017-2018); the Marion Ermer Award (2013); Scholarship at Künstlerhaus Lukas–Ahrenshoop (2012) and the C/O Berlin Talents Award (2009).
